Description
Immobiliser removal service, for Clio 172 Phase 1 ECU (amongst a few others). Note, this service can only be carried out on a Phase 1 ECU – marked Sirius 32 or Sirius 32N.This service is usually requested when the engine is transplanted in to other models which do not have the same immobiliser system, or when the owner wants to remove the car’s body control / UCH module and/or original key start.
The modification involves additional internal hardware and a software modification hence the additional cost over the reset option.
In cases where the ECU is being refitted to a Clio (which retains it’s original body control (UCH) module) then it is important that you cut the wire leading to pin 58 of the ECU. This prevents the original immobiliser signal from confusing (the now) disarmed ECU.
You will need to post your ECU to us so we can perform this operation. (Or, you can send another working ECU – it does not need to be the vehicles original, since once modified by us the ECU will work with any car). It takes 1 working day for us to perform the immobiliser removal usually, after that the ECU will be returned to you with a signed-for delivery service. To do this via post:
Please send your ECU with a covering note which includes your name and return address to:
